- Shruthi this is for you. You made a comment about Damon’s love for Elena being “stronger than his craving for blood” and you got flack for it because it’s a Stefan line. With that said, I don’t think Damon ever craved the blood lust as much as Stefan, but these scenes show that no matter what Damon’s need for blood is not even a question when he is close to a hurt or bleeding Elena. His love for her is always evident & at the forefront. It’s like it doesn’t even affect him that she’s bleeding. She makes him human. One of the many reasons I love Damon and our OTP Delena.
